Tom Chambers, a horse trainer with 40 years of experience in gentling techniques, has developed a series of natural horse training clinics designed to establish a bond between you and your horse and improve your riding abilities in the process. His Harmony with Horses program is held at the BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and Education Center in Harvard, IL. Each clinic is an informative course in the art of horse whispering, with lots of riding. Horses can be provided for those who are not able to bring their own.

Tom Chambers' Horse Philosophy

I have worked with horses for over forty years. I started with Shetland ponies as a kid and never lost the love I have for these animals. Over the years I have trained hundreds of horses from just about every breed, starting young colts, helping "horses with people problems", and even taming wild mustangs. My philosophy on horse training is very simple. "Whenever human and horses come together, it should be a pleasant experience for both!" There has never been a time in my life when I felt it was necessary to inflict pain on a horse in the name of training. The horse and human must operate as partners in every way in order to accomplish a learning environment in which both can be successful. It is only then that a trainer can experience that magic place in time that I call "Harmony with Horses!"
